The Tilly Project is a volunteer-based initiative that connects pet owners with photographers to document meaningful moments with their dogs during difficult transitions. These sessions focus on preserving connection, presence, and the relationship between dog and handler in an honest and unobtrusive way.

The Tilly Project is something I’ve felt really drawn to, because it focuses on documenting real moments during a dog’s later stage of life. After losing a few dogs I realize the things I cherish most are their pictures.

These sessions aren’t about posing or creating something perfect — they’re about being present and capturing what’s already there. The connection, the quiet moments, the way a dog exists with their person.
